Is Intersect compatible with other software we use in our organization?
Yes, Intersect is designed to form a natural extension of your existing tech stack, integrating seamlessly with a wide range of third-party applications.
We offer integrations with popular software such as CIPC, Xero, SimplePay and PaySpace.
NB. Keep an eye out, as our SARS API application was approved on 7 May ’25, so some exciting new features will be making their way in the coming months.
How secure is my data?
Data security is a top priority for us. Intersect employs industry-standard encryption protocols, regular security audits, and data backup procedures to protect your information.
We are also compliant with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI) as well as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We use bank-grade encryption for data in transit and at rest. We host on SSAE 18-compliant infrastructure, implement multi-factor authentication, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments. Your data privacy and security are our top priority.
Can I invite my team and clients to use the platform?

We use InfoDocs. What makes you different?
InfoDocs is a great tool and you are off to a good start in digitising your practice.
For us, it is just too siloed and lacks automation features. That is why we built Intersect to be able to facilitate each compliance process, end-to-end.
You can expect to find the following additional features in Intersect:

Are you manually submitting documents to CIPC?
No, we’re not.
The CIPC API is a “pull API” only, meaning that all software vendors can access information from CIPC, but they do not have a “push API” function, and will also not be developing one.
This means that none of the software vendors in SA can automatically lodge anything through an API connection.
That however doesn’t mean that the Intersect team is manually submitting any applications on your behalf.
Our proprietary software deploys best-in-class RPA (robotic process automation) and AI workflow technology, ensuring that all your submissions are automated in near real-time.
Can you guarantee a Public Officer appointment?
We wish we could. 🙂
Unfortunately, the increased efficiency and automation are unlocked on the Intersect platform. Once the application is received by SARS, their normal 21-day turnaround time still applies. You can simply track the progress via your Public Officer dashboard.
